10. Village Council Action Items
    1. Village Council Strategic Plan: Staff is recommending a motion, support and approval to formally adopt the DRAFT Strategic Plan developed over the course of 3 formal public meetings in January and February as facilitated by the Upjohn Institute.
    2. DPW 2023-2024 FY budget CIP Item: One of our municipal wells does not have a generator. It is time to purchase a new generator and have it installed in the event power goes out to the well. A 2^nd well has an older generator and would be required to provide the entire Village water in the event of a long power outage. Staff is recommending a motion, support and approval for the Village Manager to enter into a contract with Cummins Sales and Service in the amount not to exceed $35,855.00 for the purchase and installation of a new generator for one of our municipal wells. These funds will be debited from the Water Fund during the 2023-2024 FY Budget. It is anticipated 10 – 12 months delivery time.
    3. DPW 2023-2024 FY Budget CIP Item: Staff is recommending a motion, support and approval for the Village Manager to enter into a contract with Steensma Lawn and Power Equipment to purchase a new Woods Turf Batwing 12 ft wide mower deck for and amount no to exceed $21,540.00. This is a government price saving of $9,154.00 off the listed price for the unit. This will replace a 20 year old mower deck and we have had to weld sections of the deck 4-5 tomes and it is to the point that the unit is unsafe to operate. The unit mainly used to ow the Rec Park, Historic Village, Sledding Hill, and 22^nd
