The Vicksburg Historical Society preserves and shares the stories that shaped our community through the Vicksburg Historic Village and Union Depot Museum, located at 300 N. Richardson St. The Historic Village features 11 historic and replica structures—including an early 1900s schoolhouse, farmhouse, general store, and the 1904 Union Depot Museum—offering a free, immersive look at village life from the 1890s through the 1930s. The Depot Museum also houses a dedicated research room with access to photographs, maps, newspapers, and cemetery records for those tracing family history or exploring the area’s past.
