The Rotary Club of Vicksburg has been a cornerstone of the community since its founding in 1924, uniting local leaders under the Rotary motto of Service Above Self. Over the past century, the club has contributed more than $800,000 to projects throughout the greater Vicksburg area—from supporting the STRIVE Program at Vicksburg Community Schools to cemetery restoration to the Scrap Metal Recycling Project that has generated over $40,000 for community initiatives. As part of Rotary International, members are also connected to a global network working to advance health, education, and peace worldwide.
