11. Village Council Action Items:
a. 2023-2024 FY Audit Approval: Staff is recommending a motion, support and approval and acceptance of the 2023-2024 FY that was presented at the 1-27-25 Council Work Session.
b. Yearly Budgeting Software: Staff is recommending a motion, support, and approval to authorize the village manager to enter into a contract with ClearGov to provide budgeting software for the next 3 fiscal years (25/26, 26/27, and 27/28). This will provide an advance date and trend tracking, more professional presentation, and a smooth transition between financial teams. The initial cost is $9,263.33 for set-up and pro-rated to begin to create the 2025-2026 FY budget. It would be $11,000 in the 2025-2026 FY, and no more than 3% increase for the 2026-2027 FY as well as the 2027-2028 FY.
