11. Village Council Action Items:
a. Formal approval to adopt the 2024-2025 Fiscal Year audit as presented at the Village Council work session January 26, 2026 at 6:30 PM
b. Approval Request from South Kalamazoo County Fire Authority for the 2026-2027 FY Budget. Staff is recommending a motion, support, and approval of the SKCFA budget.
c. Metro Act Telecommunications Right of Way Approval for Midwest Energy and Communications. Clerk Wines will present.
d. Goose Round-Up: Staff recommends a Motion, Support, and approval to submit the 2026 Canada Goose Nest & Egg Destruction permit for the area surrounding Sunset Lake.
e. Approval for the Pup & Press Arts Fest to reserve and use The Depot Museum, Commercial Building, and Township Hall within the Village Historic District on April 25, 2026, 9:30 am – 5:30 pm. There will be multiple attractions in the Village that day as we have partnered with Kimm Mayer (Gilbert & Ivy) to bring a literacy full day event to Vicksburg. The Village of Vicksburg and Vicksburg Chamber of Commerce are assisting with fiduciary responsibilities (grants and event sales). Staff is recommending a motion, support and approval of this request as the Village is a partner in the event.
