  6. Parks and Recreation 2021-2022 FY Budget Staff Recommendations – Mallery
    1. Oswalt Park:
      1. Begin MEDC Patronicity Crowdfunding Campaign Match $50,000.00
        1. Total project $275,000.00
          1. 2 Concept drawings
        2. Pickleball Courts:
          1. 3 Courts Located at the Little League complex
            1. Cement Pad Already in place
          2. Recreation Park:
            1. Mural on Building Highlighting Village of Vicksburg
            2. New Signs for Entryway off of Sprinkle Road and all 18 holes of Disc Golf
          3. Sunset Lake Beach
            1. Add Sand to Beach
            2. New ground covering under play structure

 

  1. Clark Park
    1. Install new wood structure to hide porta john like Sunset Lake Beach
  2. Sunset Lake and Clark Park
    1. New Signs identifying Parks and Park Rules
  3. Historical Village
    1. Building Repairs and Painting
      1. Paint General Store, Sweet Shop, and Gazebo
      2. Repair Farmhouse eaves and window trim
      3. Replace Storm Doors on Depot
      4. Replace Split-rail fence by the Farmhouse.
      5. Technology Upgrades Partnership with Historic Society
    2. Dog-waste Stations in each Park – Complete in July 2021
  4. Veterans Park Update: Alex Lee
  5. Chairperson Comments – Jennie Holmes

  2. Next Meeting – June 28th there will be a formal budget presentation to the Village Council for the 2021-2022 FY. We can hold the Parks and Rec meeting at 6:00 pm the same night but would have to limit the meeting to 45 minutes, or move to Tuesday, June 29th at 7:00 pm.  Board discussion and decision.
